A centre for foot medicine: six centres of competence.
A practice that can do many things must show that it does them deliberately. Hottinger Podologie is therefore organised along medical systematics, like a centre for foot medicine: six centres of competence with their own diagnostic path, technologies and responsibilities, all under one roof at Zeltweg 74. Podiatry is the core; everything else has grown from it and remains assigned to it.
Six centres of competence, one path.
- Centre I · Podiatry & medical foot care (core): The foundation: complete treatment, calluses and cracked heels, corns and pressure points, toe orthoses, care and shoe advice. Every path in the building starts here, with findings, documentation and sterile instruments from class B sterilisation.
- Centre II · Nails: nail fungus, nail correction, nail prosthetics: Everything concerning the nail in one hand: nail fungus with the FOX 1064 nm diode laser, ingrown and involuted nails with packing and braces (Goldstadt, B/S, composite, titanium), nail prosthetics after loss, nail discolouration with classification, plus nail longevity as a course over months.
- Centre III · Warts & skin infections of the foot: Plantar and mosaic warts with Swift microwave therapy, without acid, cutting or dressing; recognising and accompanying athlete's foot; and the distinction between corn and wart, which decides the path at the foot.
- Centre IV · Pain, regeneration & aftercare: HEALITE II LED light therapy for foot pain, arthrosis, heel pain, swelling and heavy legs, in recovery after surgery and procedures; plus movement, shoe and insole advice and foot longevity: those who walk well stay free.
- Centre V · Aesthetics, skin & laser at the foot: Scars after surgery and injury, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, skin texture: non-ablative with Stellar M22 and LaseMD Ultra, performed by Nicola M. - Centre VI · Complementary medicine & longevity: When the cause reaches further than the spot that bothers you: the complementary consultation for skin and nail health, nutrition and allergies (nail & skin longevity), CellGym IHHT for metabolism, regeneration and resilience, and Villa Zeltweg for skin longevity. Complementary to medical treatment, never in its place.
We combine specialised podiatry with complementary and integrative therapeutic approaches. The order follows medicine, not marketing: skin, nail, infection, pain and regeneration, aesthetics, overall situation. One building, one file per person, clear limits: each centre names what it does not do and where it refers.
How the centres work together.
Nail fungus: podiatry (I) debrides and assesses, the nail centre (II) lasers, regeneration (IV) calms with light, the consultation (VI) looks for what favours recurrence. Hallux surgery: podiatry (I) prepares, aftercare (IV) with HEALITE II from closed wound, aesthetics (V) treats the scar if it bothers you. Brittle nails: podiatry (I) cares, the nail centre (II) rebuilds, the consultation (VI) clarifies nutrition and nail longevity over twelve months.
Hottinger Podologie is a centre for podiatry and foot health with an attached practice for skin and complementary medicine, not a medical practice and not a clinic. Laser, IPL and radiofrequency are performed by Nicola M. Mössner within the Swiss V-NISSG competence certificate, exclusively non-ablative; nail fungus only with the FOX 1064 nm diode laser. Treatments reserved for physicians are not offered; no particular result can be guaranteed.
