Podiatry Care is our medical care model: an individual interval, a fixed place in our diary, an annual foot and nail status and the certainty that changes are detected early. No subscription, no flat fee, no commitment.
The short answer.
Podiatry Care is the year-round care model of Hottinger Podologie: regular podiatry treatment at your individual interval, skin and nail check at every appointment, preventive appointments, follow-up of chronic problems, a reminder for the next appointment, priority booking and an annual foot and nail status. What Podiatry Care includes.
- Podiatry treatment at your interval: skin, callus, nails and pressure points in one hand, every 4 to 12 weeks depending on findings.
- Skin and nail check at every appointment: early detection of fungus, warts, fissures, discolouration and ingrowing tendency.
- Preventive measures: pressure relief, orthoses, packing or a brace before anything hurts.
- Care plan for home: short, concrete, adapted to the season.
- Reminder for the next appointment: the next appointment reserved on the spot, or a reminder by phone, e-mail or SMS if you wish.
- Priority booking: appointments reserved in advance, at your preferred time, evenings included; a quick solution for complaints between appointments.
- Follow-up of chronic problems: curved nails, fissures, corns, nail fungus after the laser series, with photos.
- Annual foot and nail status: review, photo comparison and the plan for the coming year.
- Seasonal foot health: spring for the sandal season, autumn for dry skin, fissures and tight shoes.
Three forms of treatment.
Single treatment: one concern, one appointment, billed according to the price list. Treatment series: a course of several sessions at a fixed interval (nail fungus laser, Swift, nail brace, scars, HEALITE II), see treatment series. Long-term care: Podiatry Care for the whole foot and Nail Longevity for the nails, regular, documented, with reminders.
What it costs.
You pay only for what is actually done. No flat fee, no advance payment, no minimum term; checks, photo documentation and reminders are part of the care. Complete podiatry treatment up to 40 minutes from CHF 130; partial treatment according to effort; visual check or follow-up without treatment CHF 45; orthoses, braces, nail reconstruction and dressings according to the price list, only after findings and a cost discussion. All prices in Swiss francs, guide values. Self-pay service; some supplementary insurance plans contribute, depending on your policy. Please cancel appointments at least 24 hours in advance.
Limits and safety.
Podiatry Care is medical foot care with a system, complementary to medical treatment and never a substitute for it. Conditions behind foot problems belong in medical care; we work with referring doctors and report back. Warning signs such as wounds that do not heal, sudden swelling, redness with fever or a new dark streak in a nail are referred immediately. Laser, IPL and radiofrequency are not part of Podiatry Care. The care can be ended at any time. A specific outcome cannot be guaranteed.
